100 Inches of Us

In the pictures below, you may be able to see a yellow ribbon around us. 

After our fabulous photographer took these pictures, she grabbed our tape measurer and we measured the ribbon.  Strangely, it was exactly 100 inches. 

I know this isn't a perfect measurement - we both have our waist and chest measurements (I believe) from our initial appointments at the Bariatric Center - but this will be a fun piece of our history, documenting the inches we lose as we come closer together. 

Our weight loss scrapbook is going to be amazing.

We would like to offer our Thanks, this weekend.  Thanks to our most supportive family and friends.  It's been so wonderful to share this news/process/our fears with all of you - and to see your unwavering support and cheerleading, it's unbelieveable sometimes.  Obviously we have some concerns, as do some of you.  This is surgery - but we've been able to talk about all of those things and at times surprise ourselves with the knowledge we've already accumulated. 

We're excited that you're going to follow our progress, and as more things start to happen, we'll update more often.
